Sometimes accountability speaks volumes!  Take for instance the situation of joining “Weight Watchers” because you need to lose weight but it’s just too hard to do on your own.  Or joining a gym, even when you have perfectly good equipment to work out at home.  Joining forces with a friend or a group to accomplish a goal makes it seem more achievable than trying to do something on your own!
Organizing your home can be another task that can sometimes seem so big it’s impossible to accomplish.  Needing help to get organized is a common problem.  Sometimes just the thought of sorting through things or trying to figure out where to start is overwhelming.  Don’t stress or worry, you’re not alone!

The advantage of Virtual Organizing is that you can get our advice and organizing tips and
help without having to pay hourly for us to be
there by your side.  However, you need to be
a self-motivated person who can stay on task,
even though we’re not working side-by-side with you.  The good news is you can make your own schedule, you don’t need to work around ours (meaning in 3-4 hour blocks). 

​You will be given organizing assignments to do on your own, as assigned by the Professional Organizer.  The tougher news is we will have periodic checkpoints when we will be seeing what progress you have made and keeping you accountable.  After all, that’s what you will be paying us for.  Remember the mention of “Weight Watchers” above?  They tell you what diet to do and then you periodically check back in to make sure you’re on task, right?  This program honestly works the same way.

The biggest benefit to hiring a Professional Organizer (whether in-person or virtually) is that we can teach you lifetime organizing skills that will clear your future of clutter!

Simple 4-Step Process

I have one package available for Virtual Organizing Sessions.  Basically if you would need more help than this, we would discuss extensions of this same type of agreement:

  1. Initial Assessment/Meeting - We will come to your home and assess the area(s) you would like to organize.  At this meeting, we will provide you with a written action plan and suggestions of any supplies you may need.  This meeting will be 1-2 hours long, depending on the size of the project and how long the assessment will take.  You will also sign a contract and pre-pay the fee.
  2. Virtual Organizing Sessions – We will have a total of 3 (½ -1 hour) sessions via Facetime or Skype.   These sessions will be either weekly or bi-weekly, depending on both party’s schedules and your urgency in getting the project done.  The schedule choice will be stated in the written contract.
  3. Checkpoints – We will check in with you mid-week or weekly via e-mail to gauge your progress, see if you have any questions, and just to make sure you are keeping on task.
  4. ​Continuous Support – We will provide continuous support via phone or e-mail throughout the project, answering any questions and providing advice.
